About the Speaker
Timothy Mark Davis is a South Florida–based film and theatre director, producer, and actor, and a 2020 Carbonell Award winner for Best Actor. He is the Producing Artistic Director of New City Players, an award-winning Broward theatre company where he has produced more than 25 stage productions. His screen work includes Apple TV+’s Bad Monkey, independent films, and commercials for brands like Rolex and AAA. His feature directorial debut, Thank You, Places!, premiered at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and he has produced several acclaimed short films, including Konpa (Tribeca 2023) and Little Haiti, Miami, U.S.A. (Best Narrative Short, Miami Short Film Festival 2024). His films have screened at festivals nationwide, and he writes a monthly newsletter for creatives pursuing meaningful work. Learn more about…
