  • Press releases or promotional content disguised as stories.

  • Simple event listings without a story angle.

  • Copy-paste content from other publications.

How to Submit

  • A strong pitch should include:

  • Clear Summary: Describe your story idea, angle, or thesis in a few sentences.

  • Story Structure: Outline the anticipated flow or sections of the piece.

  • Your Background: Explain why you’re qualified to cover this topic. Include links to previous work or an online portfolio.

  • Your Voice: Use your pitch to show off your writing style or visual sensibility.
