CHOOSE954 DAY

Choose954 is made up of a pair of creative entrepreneurs, arts advocates and community builders with a focus on Broward County Arts and Culture. We are passionate about the 954, and spend seven days a week ideating, showcasing and promoting the many wonderful things Broward County has to offer.

As pioneers in creating platforms to showcase the many unique characteristics of communities throughout the 954, we launched the Choose954 Day Bike ride two years ago which has rapidly grown to the premier bike ride and tour of Downtown Fort Lauderdale and its various art districts. With its growth we have decided to expand Choose954 Day from its origins as a community driven bike ride to include a block party & street festival.

We aim to make September 5th (9/5 at 4pm) synonymous with Broward County and another way to connect over shared passions and eventually an unofficial holiday to celebrate Broward County and highlight the best of what our county has to offer while creating opportunities for the community to discover, support and celebrate the local businesses and people that make the 954 what it is. 

The day will feature pop-ups from the Best Of 954 in multiple categories curated through community voting that will launch in June 2022. Plus, a well curated lineup of talented local musical performers that will have concert loving attendees leaving with a greater appreciation for our local music scene and discovery of some artists!
